Attorney

Jennifer R. Smart was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and moved to Boerne, Texas after living in Germany. After graduating from Boerne High School, she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma, where she participated in the Phi Mu Sorority and the University of Oklahoma Pride Marching Band. She obtained her law degree from Oklahoma City University.

While in law school, Mrs. Smart worked as a licensed legal intern at the Cleveland District Attorney’s office in Norman, Oklahoma. She participated on the OCU Mock Trial teams and was awarded the McAfee and Taft Outstanding Trial Advocate Award as well as the CALI Award for Trial Practice and Applied Criminal Procedure. She is also a member of Phi Delta Phi Honors Fraternity.

Mrs. Smart moved to Austin in 2008. She enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, Boomer, and participating in several soccer leagues, 5K races, and teaching Sunday School to the preschoolers at her Church.
